Now that I have finished watching The Sopranos, I have had time to start listening to Polyamory Weekly again. (There is a link to this podcast) This podcast is an interesting window into polyamory. They labour words like “honest” and “open” relationships. I feel the label “polyamory” is to give credibility to make it a unique lifestyle as opposed to better known labels e.g. “open relationships”. Which is fine but it seems to be they also position themselves on the moral high ground over Swingers e.g. “swinging is just for sex and poly is meaningful relationships”.
Sometimes its beyond belief what people desire.
In 1993 a 21 year old man was jailed for 18 months after repeatedly having sex with kerbstones in Redditch, Worcestershire.
In November a 51 year old man was caught trying to have sex with his bike, two cleaners walked into his room in the hostel he was staying at and caught him. The man pleaded guilty to sexually aggravated breach of the peace. He was sentenced to 3 years probation and placed on the sex offenders register for 3 years. The judge thought he had come across ever perversion known to man but this was a new one on him, he had never heard of a cycle sexualist. Read the rest of this entry »
The other evening I watched a programe called Dawn goes Lesbian where this journalist decided to experiment for one month to see whether there was the possibility that she could ever have a relationship with a woman, by living in a Lesbian environment and not dating any men during this period. We all know that womens’ sexuality is more “fluid” than mens’ but did I learn anything new from this programme? Read the rest of this entry »
I have to admit that I am interested in people, or, as my Husband would say, nosey! Theres nothing I like better than listening in to others conversations (very discreetly of course). Joe, my Husband was not the jealous type, we had been married for two years and he knew way back that my best friend was Gary. Me and Gary had known each other since our school days and we did everything together, tonight I was going out with him, he was leaving you see, moving miles away for a job promotion I was happy for him, but also sad as I would miss him terribly.
